Danielle's Story
I am a mother of two with a real zest for life!
I love staying active — whether that’s bouldering, sauna and sea swims, cycling, yoga, working out or long walks outdoors. Movement makes me feel strong, grounded and energised.
I have a passion for gardening and design, and I’m happiest when I’m outside immersed in nature. Being outdoors restores me and continually reminds me how powerful simple, natural living can be.
From Struggle to Strength: My journey into Health Coaching and Nutrition
Having experienced the depths of despair caused by perimenopause and hypothyroidism, I truly understand how overwhelming poor health can feel.
After giving birth to my son at 41, while also caring for my daughter who lives with a serious illness, my physical and mental health began to unravel. I suffered from chronic joint and nerve pain, skin problems, hair loss, digestive issues, recurring chest infections, mood swings, night sweats, hot flushes, anxiety and total exhaustion — to name just a few! With each new symptom came another prescription, and I felt as though I was slowly falling apart.
Through my own research, I began to explore the powerful connection between food, lifestyle, and health. I discovered that removing certain foods from my diet could significantly impact how I felt — and that simple shift marked the beginning of a profound transformation.
As my symptoms gradually eased and I was able to reduce most of my medication, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope. That journey ignited a deep passion for healing through nutrition and lifestyle changes, which led me to formally study Nutrition and Health Coaching.
Today, I am fully qualified and work one-to-one with clients both in person and online from my home in the heart of the New Forest, surrounded by natural beauty. I also run workshops focused on hypothyroidism/hashimoto's thyroiditis and perimenopause and regularly collaborate with other local businesses to deliver supportive, informative events for women seeking practical guidance and community.
Using my coaching skills, I support women navigating perimenopause and living with hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s. I help them regain control of their wellbeing, restore their energy and feel like themselves again — just as I did.
